First of all, to give credit where credit is due. This is me, quite awhile ago now, with the original "Archetype" band playing the song live in rehearsal for gigs at the Starry Plough in Berkeley, CA. God bless 'em, because they really helped give this song life. The individual credits for "Archetype" appear on various pages on this site: Jaimie Brezinski, Tony Boersma, Jordan Perry, Mark Showalter, and myself.

This song appears in a sequence of events I call "The Musical Trilogy". This is a set of three musicals I put together incorporating much of the music David Arkenstone and I had written together at an earlier age, in what now almost seems like another life. The original Arkenstone-O'Mara tunes combined with various other tunes I had written on my own to complete the music and stories for the Trilogy.

There is an obscure homage to the sequence of tunes from the musical in this tune. As time goes by I will try to create webpages with the sequence of tunes in the storyline as I originally pictured it. There's the hint about the Musicals... still yet to be, and the Old Friends...

It is possible, the way things are going, that the Musical Trilogy will only become "Themes" behind the songs, and never see light as Musicals, but I will keep holding out for the whole shebang.

For friends who are paying attention, the second song in the first musical is "The Beauty In Your Eyes".
